This page and the sub pages of this page will attempt to provide references
to katas that are found in the L5R RPG and provide either details of the
kata, when possible, or to provide full details of the kata, when it is
not a published kata.
Katas are new to L5R, introduced in Way of the Samurai. They are special
rigid practice moves used for training and meditation. They usually provide
some benefit, usually at the cost of introducing some other drawback while
they are active. Kata are most often used for show, to display a samurai's
extreme precision and finesse or othertimes (Crab) raw power.
