This page and sections list and detail all of the various families and other
sub-factions that are present in Legend of the Five Rings. Families that are
defined in published materials are just listed and have a reference given
to where it can be found. To decide where a family should go, use the most
recent information in the game. This is primarily a concern for the Yasuki
who have changed from Crane, to Crab, and at least partially go back to the
Crane.
Duplicate entries for a family can be put in, but each needs to have a
slightly different name, to differentiate it.
