Five Rings Online
FRO is a moderated, chat-based, online rpg dedicated to the Legend of the Five Rings game. We use the Third Edition rules with a few modifications here and there mostly for the ease of our format, and, as indicated somewhat above, we are changing the basic setting of the game.
This is the fourth FRO game,and we're going to try something a little different and possibly grander in scope than in the previous games. PCs are going to be encouraged to advance in Status, to take leadership positions in their Clan and the Empire. We are not following the canon storyline; true to the spirit of the game, we are going to take what we wish from the material as presented and make something of our own from it.
GameRef : Rules, rulings, guidelines. Those new to FRO4 should take some time to read through the included sections to familiarize themselves with the game.
CityBook : Districts, places, NPCs, and plotline-based information. All information included is assumed to be In-Character information unless noted otherwise.
Players : Player-managed content, such as characters, affiliations, and the like. Not advised for non-sanctioned characters.
Profiles : Players and storytellers of the site. OOC information, of course.
SideGames? : Information about the various side games on the site.
