The rules are pretty simple, for playing here:
#1: Amimono no Toshi is a collective Game. All of the players and their characters represent a part of the unfolding tapestry that is the story of the Castle. Have your character add to the story rather than be a distraction from the stories that are going on. Characters that exist only to maul and kill other characters are not welcomed here.

#2: Rokugan is a land filled with conflicts of interest and power. It isn't a dark and scary land (unless you venture too far south). It can range from a relatively normal to a very heroic setting. For purposes of this game I'm going for a balance. Characters are normal people, with their flaws and their virtues. They shouldn't be caricatures or excessively abnormal. Well rounded characters will be welcomed into the game much more than others.

#3: Don't hog the spotlight. This is a communal story and everyone will have their part to play.

#4: Play well with others. This should be fairly simple. If you don't show basic courtesy to other players, you will find your character's to be given the big red X.

#5: Listen to the GMs. Again this should be fairly obvious. If there is is a ruling you question, deal with it later, not in the middle of a scene. Don't get overly antagonistic to the GMs. They are nice people and don't need that. If you have a serious grievance, email them or me. my email is headgm@fiveringsonline.com.

#6: This online game is using 2nd Edition rules. If there are ever questions about updated Target Numbers or how a roll has changed to fit 2nd ed, feel free to ask a GM about it.
